    Not a top payer. Looking for cheaper labor as most of the companies now.

    I worked at Ericsson-Worldwide full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

    Use to be good one to work for, but not anymore, unless you are Chinese or Indian. The company also had a nice benefits in US, good health insurance and 3 weeks vacation.

    Cons

    Work culture has shifted from European, North American to Asian. Hiring cheap people asking them to work extra hours without pay.

    When you do the next layoff start from the top, not from the bottom!

    I have been working at Ericsson-Worldwide full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

    Ericsson absorbed the RAN and engineering groups from Clearwire. Clearwire shopped us to cut costs. It's better than getting laid off

    Cons

    You're just another body. Whatever initiative and value we had is now subject to questions like "well what exactly is it that you do here?" "Can we streamline your job to India?"

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Keep trying to really communicate with the staff and talent that you've acquired. No more surveys, no more motivational meetings. Leaders need to lead.
