A good place to think and learn things on your own, but too much time will be spent writing documents.

I worked at Ericsson-Worldwide as a contractor (more than a year)

    Pros

Peace of mind, good balance of work and personal life. A very mature company with most processes defined and experienced already. A good place to work if you are able to read and learn things on your own.

    Cons

Too much bureaucracy and focus on processes such as filling in forms and writing more documentation than code sometimes. That can be a creativity-killer and feel very boring if you have a hacker-type mentality.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The ratio of managers to developers is too high.

    Recommends
    Neutral Outlook
    No opinion of CEO
