    I worked at Ericsson-Worldwide full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Full benefits for full time employees. Free Health/Dental/Vision Benfits! Can't beat that! Ability to develop close working relationships with your peers. Provided on the job training which is very helpful.

    Cons

Advancement appears to be given to those who are friends with upper management. HR takes their position to a whole new level, and not in a good way.

    Advice to Management

Try to develop good employee-manager relationships with everyone, not just the people you share a common interest with.

    Pros

Good learning experience, lots of project assignments within North America Many experienced and skilled employees Huge organization and lots of career opportunities

    Cons

Organization operates in silos with their own budgets and project managers. Busy and stressful work environment at times. Common work area (no cubicles) for some engineering departments Difficult to get re-assigned or transfer to other departments Excessive office politics in some groups

    Advice to Management

Better cooperation between departments; better work environment needed for some engineering groups
