    Pros

Great people who work with spirit to create world-leading telecom solutions.
Company takes good care of its employees.
    An ethical company.
Beijing R&D centre is beoming one of Ericsson's largest R&D centres -- lots of room to move.

    Cons

Too many Europeans in senior leadership positions. This "global" company would benefit from having more Asians and North Americans to balance out the senior leadership culture.
Sometimes one gets the feeling the company doesn't know what business it is in.

    Advice to Management

Work harder to develop local talent for senior leadership positions. (There are signs that this is improving, but could be done more quickly.)

    Pros

The leaders in telecom sector as service providers to the best known operators in India.
The technology is ever evolving, and there are lots and lots of scope to learn, implement as well as gain mileage in your career in the long term.
Being an MNC, it has a smooth interface for interaction with international counterparts.

    Cons

The compensation growth rate is slow, although the starting salry is quite good in comparison to industry peers.
There is less flexibility in horizontal movement (i.e. across departments).
Immediate managers have a lot of say in the growth movement, due to which employees may feel constricted at times.

    Advice to Management

Keeping with the superb culture of learning at Ericsson, the employees should be provided the scope to move not just vertically but also horizontally.
Regular feedback should be taken about the employee satisfaction with respect to the type of job he does and not just about compensation, work culture etc.
