Current Employee - Manager in Wangjing, Beijing (China)

I have been working at Ericsson-Worldwide full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Great people who work with spirit to create world-leading telecom solutions.
Company takes good care of its employees.
    An ethical company.
Beijing R&D centre is beoming one of Ericsson's largest R&D centres -- lots of room to move.

    Cons

Too many Europeans in senior leadership positions. This "global" company would benefit from having more Asians and North Americans to balance out the senior leadership culture.
Sometimes one gets the feeling the company doesn't know what business it is in.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Work harder to develop local talent for senior leadership positions. (There are signs that this is improving, but could be done more quickly.)

    Recommends
    Neutral Outlook
