I have been working at Ericsson-Worldwide full-time (more than a year)

Pros

Diverse environment, the pay and benefits are reasonable, and the opportunity to assist in other areas is strong.

Cons

Lack of a team influence between departments, clickish environments hurt moral, poor leadership due to inexperience, role ambiguity and lack of a structured career path if you are remote from your manager. Pay is not exactly average for a project coordinator, but it is reasonable.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Management needs to become more diverse in their leadership and learn to trust those that have the experience and not just those they sit next to. Communication needs to be improved as assisting with developing a career path especially if your manager is located remotely.

    I worked at Ericsson-Worldwide full-time

    Pros

Great place to work with all the challenges you want. Very diverse workforce adds to the cosmopolitan feel to the main campus (HQ). Among the workforce there is a spirit of cooperation and support.

    Cons

As you go up the ranks especially among the top 1% of the leadership there is a "good old boy" mentality and the current senior leader either is unaware of it, ignores it or encourages it. If you are part of it you can get things done but if you are not watch out! Finally, if you want to get ahead in Ericsson I was personally told it was not the results that move you but who you know.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Break down the entrench "good old boy" network; delayer the management; promote people based on their deeds not who they know.

I have been working at Ericsson-Worldwide full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Good Infrastrucutre of the building. Good Health benefits. Good to start your career

    Cons

Stressful work culture, lots of politics, growth is limited. dishonest managers and engineers. No work and life balance. When I saw company rating on this site it was surprising for me 3.6 -there is no way this company can get this ratings- some of the reviews are false and not genuine. They will make you work like dog. They layoff employees very often. Ericsson policy is to layoff bottom 10% people every year!!!. Almost all employees work more than 8 hours a days which includes part of the work from home after hours. DO NOT work for this company if you have any other options.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be honest and truthful. Stop bribing money from consultants
