Leader in the field. Treats people fairly and values its employees.
Visionary in its field.
Global scale and opportunities to work in other countries and on diverse projects and customers.
Outstanding culture of collaboration and nice place to work.
Long tenure of employees leads to people who really know the products and the technology.
Priotities are set in Sweden and sometimes ignore the local market requirements.
Cons
Very collaborative makes slow decision making (but company has a long time horizon). Low performance culture.
Training is on the job, poor formal induction and structure training. Expected to learn by 'just being around a long time'.
Tolerance of mediocrity
Progression based on length of service and relationships to Sweden rather than competence or ability.
Advice to Senior Management
Speed up decision making.
Improve performance culture.
Senior managers should walk the floor more. TV broadcasts are good but would be great to have more informal contact.
Improve global processes to enable the local market units to be successful and get the products to the customers faster.
