Former Employee - Administrative Assistant Or Secretary (Part Time) in Newark, NJ

I worked at Essex County College

    Pros

Flexibility in Scheduling, Easy Location to College, Easy Access to Education.

    Cons

Lots of Bureacrasy and politicking behavior. Management is not totally concerned with level of service workers offer unless it becomes a matter that causes jeopardy it seems. It's more like a social club vs. a business.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Consider improving the worker atitudes to be more service oriented since it is a service industry. Reform Teacher attitudes towards learning. Less Curving should occur.
