Pros

Great team to work with if have the bosses on had who let you do your job and supported you..

Cons

Too many senior managers who don't work and expect their team to do their jobs plus his of her job so hours can be very long.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Talk to the sorkers in the trenches and find out what is going on in your departments...you could be so much more creative and profitable if you listened to your employee's suggestiongs and feedback.

    Pros

    Benefits, compensation for the region. Steady work.

    Cons

    Poor communication from management. "Mom & Pop" shop environment that does not work well with a corporate environment. Nepotism.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Instruct and direct the employees. Develop consistent policies and administer them. Put in place quality measurements.

    Pros

    One of the pros for working at Essilor is the ability to grow with in the company there are many
    opportunities to excel and prepare for the next level whether it is at the same location or if you relocate . The benefits package is good and 401 k is matched at 6%

    Cons

    One of the cons is that at times it does get a little "political" so its just a matter of working around it.
