Pros

Decent benefits, flexible hours, great way to learn how to handle difficult employees

Cons

Senior management, old time employees with attitudes, no room for growth above supervisor

Advice to Management

Train your lower management instead of just throwing them in place. Create clear goals, inform employees of changes before you expect them to do it. Reward the correct people

    Pros

Good pay, and usually good yearly bonuses. Nice co-workers (for the most part).

    Cons

Mid-level managers play favorites, make trouble for others who aren't. Hard not to be pigeon-holed into your specific job/title. Up to individual department managers whether tuition reimbursement will be paid (or not).

    Advice to Management

Allow employees to move to other positions in the company, especially if it's within the same department. If you're going to have tuition reimbursement, it should be across the board, especially if the degree is in the employees' current field of work.

    Pros

    Good Coffee in the Breakrooms

    Cons

Work Load Pay Advancement Opportunity Insurance we horrible

    Advice to Management

Have HR set up employee development programs. If this is out of scope, be honest and up front with employees and do not lead them on believing this will ever happen.
