I worked at Esurance full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    - free coffee and milk in the kitchen
    - proximity to bart

    Cons

    - developers treated poorly, slow hardware and outdated technologies, management has a closed mind for any new suggestions
    - deadend career if you are not ready to agree to everything that your manager says
    - most managers are only interested in keeping their jobs and get a bonus
    - raising voice, shouting, finger pointing is encouraged
    - you hear a lot of "this will not work here" or judgemental comments all the time, new idea from a new employee is crushed even before it is heard entirely
    - IT top rated H1 sweatshop that thrives on paying low money and expects 24/7 support and knows that no matter how bad you treat them, they are not going to leave you for visa reasons

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

stop making all the wrong decisions and start caring for employees for once
