Former Employee – worked at Everbridge
Pros – I had a lot of opportunity to take on whatever I wanted to learn.
Tons of growth - personally - you have to recognize it and go for it though, they are not directing people on how to improve.
I liked the teams I worked with, the people really seem to care and made me care too.
I was able to do many different things and when I got a call from an IT recruiter I was able to negotiate a big pay increase.
Always something to eat in the lunch room (free).
People always smile and say yes when I needed a hand with something.
Cons – At times I felt I was working long hours, many people worked between 40 and 50 hours a week.
Not a great bonus program, would have liked to see some more quarterly money.
I had to "reach out" and find my opportunities, there wasn't anyone directing my growth.
There is a lot of employees trash talking in the lunch room - I never understood it, this company pays your salary, your benefits, a nice environment in a great office and people trash talk the company like they should also do everything else - I used to wonder to myself when did business turn into a socialist venture???
I WANTED STOCK - this company is growing huge and I wanted a piece of it, guess I will have to wait for the IPO.
Advice to Senior Management – Take the door off the lunch room - people are trashing on you.
Take the doors off all but senior management offices people trash talk in their offices too.
Open the environment, I didn't know what people were doing in other departments.
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend
