I have been working at Evernote full-time (more than a year)

Pros

Interesting problems to work on with extremely smart and committed people who are having a great time doing it. The perks are also not to be beat if you're into that kind of thing - the best free lunches in the valley (sushi every Wednesday from the ex-owner of the best sushi restaurant in the valley), unlimited vacation time, a travel bonus to make sure you actually take some of that vacation, etc.

Cons

It's not a 40 hour workweek, if that's what you're looking for.

    Pros

Evernote is a good company. I like the transparency. All information shared in a weekly basis is helpful to let us understand the context of the company, goals and so on. And the product is awesome! Evernote is certainly a company you are proud do be working at.

    Cons

Management. Many inexperienced managers in important roles. My manager, in particular, doesn't provide any guidance on what is expected and doesn't provide enough support. Clearly there is an internal struggle to the point of not letting me work in partnership with other teams. So I end up not having autonomy and support do get the things being done.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Please look at how your managers are working. And if they are caring for the company or for their own status.
