I worked at Everyday Health full-time

Pros

Many friendly and intelligent coworkers. Nice location close to many restaurants. Great place to learn technology. Good pay and benefits.

Cons

Lots of talent from the technology team has left. Retention seems to be an issue. No long term strategy and planning communicated down (if it even exists).

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Innovate and strategize for the long term.

Upper managment is pretty clueless and things are always changing.

I have been working at Everyday Health full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

    Unlimited PTO
Tons of talented people who really pride themselves on their work.
    Gorgeous views from the office.

    Cons

    Where do I start?

Way to many seniors and VP's. The company is always restructuring the todom poll and still don't have a clear vision of who they are and what consumers want. They pride themselves on being the leader of health "news" and information but are really a glorified sales company who simply care about ad's and numbers.

HR is a nightmare. In a year almost the entire department has turned over. It seems that every week somebody is leaving the company.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Listen to middle management reports of why people really aren't happy. It's the little things. If they felt like their work was being appreciated they would stay.
