Pros – Lots of educational opportunities. Very challenging. GREAT people to work with. I was given the lattitude to perform my job and sustain my family life.
Cons – The expected amount if time SME's needed to put in was way too much to do on a regular basis. Senior leaders established dates without asking the people that implemented the projects and then expected the teams to meet the dates anyways. Drove poor quality. And even poorer (if that is a word) employee satisfaction.
Advice to Senior Management – Stop the bickering between organizations. Don't set dates without estimating. Listen to the people that have been there for years, they know what can be done in a realistic timeframe.
