Very challenging and rewarding career with a lot of training every year. Plenty of choices and chances to move within.

I have been working at Exelon full-time for more than 10 years

Pros

Excellent pay and benefits, 401k, constant training. Incentives for ideas, performing well, travel re-reimbursement, employee discounts on many items outside of the company.

Cons

Some job positions require 24x7 support which sometimes will impact after hours activities. This is not necessarily a Con, but something that all employees and potential employees should be aware of.

Neutral Outlook

I have been working at Exelon as a contractor for less than a year

    Pros

I do have to admit that it is a easy cushy job, so if you like doing minimal work, this is for you.

    Cons

Management is constantly changing, they highly restrict what you are allowed to do, and lots of boring meaningless meetings.
