I have been working at Exl Service full-time (more than an year)

Pros

A very ethical company with good strong values ingrained into the system,Everyone is jointly part of the stake in the future in company,Welfare company,one of the few that states that they treat their employees as their customers.Flexible with leaves if there is a emergency scenario on board.Gave me a chance to interact with the senior hierachy of the client which i do not think so i will have elsewhere.

Cons

There is a massive problem of attrition.But to be fair if an individual has attritional issues then the individuality question arises but if there is 23 out of the 25 people in my batch commits attrition then the system should be in question.i have worked for a year with a low BPO salary standards,i had my reasons to continue ,i had expectations with the company which were delievered and not delievered but amongst all the pressure of attrition falls on individuls who arent much tenured.They have been individuals who i feel not worthy of naming have entered the industry tresspassing many BPO industries with 2 -3 month work experience staying for the training and moving on.No one has taken notice on them while hiring.Other downside issues are logistics and food quality which many employees complaint.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Attrition is inevitable as long as BPO industires and its process are not stable ,if a individual disperses the company within 2 to 3 months that is a disgrace but on the contrary if the employee decides its time to move on within a 8 to 10 months or a year we need to give credence for his aspiration,To Counter this with pressure tactics of retention is a downside.Attrition conjures with low wage payment with the country inflation rates moving to 9 to 10 % it is certainly not beneficial for less wage payment ,Cost cutting is not a remedy in the BPO world for sure due to its instability nature

    Pros

    Company has a good growth, good future, good leadership. The environment is dynamic. Lots of cool projects and clients. Tenured employees get rewarded well.

    Cons

    Increments are not proper. Promotions are not proper. Company does not value higher degrees. Nepotism is very high. Some mid-level managers have become very complacent.

    Pros

    You can get whatever you want if you perform well. The new oppurtunities can be exploited if there is a will within yourself.

    Cons

    No proper pay structure. Will be fed up with the snail speed of salary hike. The second tier city are looked up as cost saving cost centre. There is no freedom in the work structure.Must sit on your work station for minimum 8 hours complulsory for complete attendence.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Be employee friendly. Nothing will harm in showing little more relation with employees.
