    Pros

The pace at Expedia seems decent and they do seem to honor employees and do employee morale events such as cruses on Lake Washington. Does not appear to be a burn out pace and given the fact the business is doing well morale appears decent.

    Cons

Certain groups particularly GSO are full of former technical managers who have no idea how to manage teams to deal without side vendors or consultants or run projects. Most will write up a contract for a project having no idea what they signed and then leave it to legal to sort out their mistakes. Many of these same managers provide no input to projects, provide no contact/communication with teams and are merely held in position through allegiance with their one higher up superior who does not understand the poor project management they area doing.

    Advice to Management

Get rid of managers who can not interact with teams, honor the contracts you sign and provide 360 reviews for those above staff. You will rid yourself of those technical managers who have no project management skills and force them to honor contracts.
