Welcome to 21st Century SLAVERY, sans the physical beatings....

Customs Bokerage (Current Employee)
Los Angeles, CA

ProsThere is job stability and excellent medical benefits- but thats it.

ConsExpeditors loves proclaiming top-notch 'professionalism' in the industry, but somehow manage to promote idiots with barely a high school education to supervisor/management positions. EI LAX is capitalism at its finest- why hire more people when 1 slave can do the job of 3? No rasies or bonuses are given to non-mangement employees, although the $$$$ is there. Ridiculous expectations from low-level management towards employees. No Human Resources Dept. HIGHLY STRESSFUL WORK ENVIRONMENT.

Advice to Senior ManagementFire yourselves. And STOP telling employees to be grateful we have jobs. Without your employees there is no Expeditors. Remember that. Also, low level managment need courses on how to coach employees. Better yet, you should require college educated people for sups/management positions. Novel idea.
