I have been working at Expeditors full-time for more than 5 years

Pros

Good medical benefits (especially for families), work life balance

Cons

lower than average pay, vacation and sick time slow to accrue, won't approve unpaid leave, nepotism, retention is bad

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Need to update salaries and time off policies. Worker experience varies greatly by manager.

    I worked at Expeditors

    Pros

Great benefits, great people, great bay area location

    Cons

Long boring hours of Data Entry. Lots of overtime. To love this place you must enjoy being at a desk all day and having an endless supply of emails. The only time you get up is to get coffee and use the bathroom or risk falling behind on emails. Tons of training hours. Strict dress code even though there is no physical interaction with customers. Very much a conservative corporate culture.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

shorten up the training and loosen up on the dress code.

    Neutral Outlook
