I have been working at Experian full-time (more than 5 years)

Pros

Brand, within last years it's hard to say anything else positive

Cons

Old products, old type of thinking hidden under would-be modern approach, bureaucracy

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Products range needs total deep reshaping.

Has potential to be great, let down by constant cost slashing and Senior Managers' performance & attitudes

I worked at Experian full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

Worked with a great team of people in the regional office.
Projects I was involved with were generally interesting and challenging.
    Had a decent work/life balance
Pension & ShareSave scheme actually quite decent.
    Free tea & coffee

    Cons

Loyalty and ability count for nothing.
Senior Managers' primary goal is saving money. End of.
Bonus scheme is very mean. In the "improved" version of it, March 2013, out of the 3 examples given, under two of them the people were WORSE OFF, than the previous scheme. That's an improvement? And no-one noticed this. Or perhaps they just don't care.
The sense in the office everyone is living on borrowed time.
Senior Manager correspondence throughout the financial year proclaims how well the company is doing. However at the end of the year, when payrises, bonuses etc. are calculated, guess what? Turns out the company wasn't doing quite so well after all. Conclusion? Senior Managers deceive, inveigle and obfuscate.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Figure out how you can increase the share price by NOT making redundancies. How about selling products?
