I worked at Experian full-time (More than 5 years)

Pros

Great people working here, very sharp with high commitment levels. Great industry to be in, business information is key to many organizations.

Cons

Poor management, little direction is given to employees. You are many times left to make your own assumptions for your line of business.

Advice to Management

Listen to the employees they are the ones working directly with customers.

I have been working at Experian full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Good people to work with, decent benefits

    Cons

Experian Marketing Services reorgs some 2x a years and heads always roll as they focus on making the Ebit number. That's the one thing you can always count on. A lack of strategic direction and difficulty in getting the various business units to work effectively together.

    Advice to Management

Take a longer view and invest in your employees so they don't have to live in fear of being laid off. Better plan so that layoffs are not a fact of life, even though the business is solid.

I worked at Experian full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Good pay, 40 hours a week, great benefits and potential bonuses, advancement opportunities.

    Cons

Very competitive/demanding atmosphere. Have to have an good sales attitude to be successful.

    Advice to Management

Great supervisors here. Keep doing what your doing. On an operations level: Get rid of retention. Asking someone to keep something they have already said they don't want 2 or 3 times is only going to make for a bad experience for both the customer and the agent.
