Pay your managers more, they are the lifeblood of the stores.

    Pros

The stores are basically put together by T-mobile, so the stores are OK. They also provide the inventory, so you have it available to sell.

    Cons

They are extremely negative in their outlook and the way they treat employees. They micro-manage every moment of the time you are there, and second-guess employees at every turn.

They expect you to bring business with you to the store, instead of the company providing any marketing efforts at all.

    Advice to Management

Stay out of employees' personal lives. Get some experienced sales managers. Quit penalizing people for working in a slow store, you picked the location.

  2. Great culture, fast paced environment, great money and benefits if you can keep up.

    Pros

You're paid for your results, hourly plus commission. Average reps make $30-40K, above average $50-60K, top reps $65K+ (entry level, not management). Very goal oriented, you're held to daily and monthly goals that you set. Daily performance is compared on a stack ranker so it's easy to see what your peers are capable of, what you need to improve on. Top 10% of the company goes on a free vacation to Mexico each year.

    Cons

Long hours (expect some 12hr days and overtime during peak times), retail hours offer little flexibility so expect to work every weekend, all weekend.
