    Pros

You get a reasonable employee discount- 30% reguarly and 45% occasionally. They have a decent training program and you also learn how to do several different retail tasks. They also have occasional contests for additional discounts, free clothing, or other perks. I also had some good managers that were nice to work with.

    Cons

By the end of the time there, I felt really underpaid and underappreciated. I was doing the job of three employees and getting nothing for it. The closings are also poorly staffed, so you can end up at the store past midnight on a weekend, even though you were only scheduled until ten. There was also really high turnover rates, so there was a lack of seasoned employees with a good knowledge of the company. Employees are not allowed to use the coupons with their discount, which is understandable, but they can't even opt to use the coupons instead when the coupons are a better deal than their discount, which i found annoying and inconvenient. And finally, the on-call shifts and getting sent home only stink. You can be scheduled for an on-call shift which means that you can't plan on doing anything that day because you have to call the store an hour before your shift to find out if you actually work. Then on top of that, many times when you get called in, you get sent home as soon as the rush dies down. At times, I barely covered my gas.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The high turnover rates should be a sign that you aren't treating your employess well. Also, the average level pay and so-so other perks are not drawing the kind of employees you need to run the stores the way you seem to want to.
