I have been working at Express Scripts full-time for more than 3 years

Pros

The company is great to work for. The call centers, granted attendance is vital for call centers, are so poorly managed its ridiculous. You can't ask your manager for a day off because he/she will have to ask ALL the other managers ENTERPRISE WIDE, if you can have that day off. If you have a family, definitely stay away from the call centers. They pay well, but the restrictions and policies are so stringent, its almost impossible to get time off.

Cafeteria is pretty good

Flexibility
Management of individual departments
Attendance policy seriously needs to be based off of reality, and not what 2 people in a department of 60, think is "good."

    Absolutely no regard for employees' or contractors' needs...tons of work, little or no approval.

    I have been working at Express Scripts as a contractor for less than a year

    Pros

    The money is good for the positions.

    Cons

    Constantly moving people around from role to role and laying off both employees and contractors on a whim. Recently even laid off a number of full-time employees, while vigorously hiring numerous contractors.

    Consider your workers' needs and you'll have much more loyalty and job satisfaction.

    I have been working at Express Scripts full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

    ever changing reality with the Medco merger going forward.. fast paced work environment.. great opportunities to lead people and make a great impact on their world .. so far many different sites to work at ..

    Cons

    huge demands on management and little recognition because everyone is looking at what the next hot topic may be.. account management appears to be limited in where you are allowed to work from , and in how much they understand what goes on in the front line employees world ( the people who really talk to their clients) they are losing the expertise and knowledge of frontline employees by overlooking people in their contact centers
