Current Employee – been working at Extended Stay Hotels full-time for less than a year
Pros – There are opportunities because the company needs to mature its business processes and technology if they are to achieve their goal of going public. Many new people have joined corporate an there is an enthusiasm to tackle these issues. New P2P software will be implemented in 2013.
Cons – There is a lot of employee stress due to many operational inefficiencies and the lack of global planning across the enterprise when new solutions are implemented.
Advice to Senior Management – Pay your staff competitive salaries and look for opportunities to streamline your business processes by providing incentives to those who identify and lead these changes. Become more proactive in creating a viable career pathsfor your employees.
