Extendicare Health Services Employee Review

Current Employee – been working at Extendicare Health Services full-time for less than a year

Pros – Awesome caregivers, great people to work with, tuition reimbursement, wellness plan, great mission statement,

Cons – Sarcastic Managers, Minimal personal days, vacation days do not rollover - use or lose, Mission does not seem to make it to front line staff, Unit holders 1st priority over residents, families and employees

Advice to Senior Management – Need more direct care staff - you can decrease overtime, if you improve staff:resident ratios, Why is your mission lost between those that create it and those who need to provide care by it.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company
