Extreme Networks Sales Representative in Santa Clara, CA:   (Past Employee - 2006)

Pros

It is a job. Compete against Cisco so maybe you can join them when you have enough experience under your belt

Cons

Extreme Networks is a small company and Cisco smokes them. They do not have an end to end solution and rely on partnerships with companies like Avaya. Avaya is not exactly a Tier 1 player

Advice to Senior Management

Be happy anyone would want to work there for more than a year. Pay people and give them a career path. Develop better partnerships and adopt a Dell model, where you can actually resell and make money selling best of breed solutions.
