Pros
Salaries tend to be fair for the industry.
Cons
Their ratings and ranking system has major problems. It is consistently used by management to trim the workforce of older workers so they can hire younger recent graduates at lower salaries. Older employees are considered to have lower" potential" due to their age. Most non-managerial employees retire between 55 and 60 because they receive ever more negative annual reviews.
Advice to Senior Management
Be much more diligent in insuring that managers do not use the employee rating and ranking system as a tool to meet buget targets. The system is draconian to say the least.

Is this really that common among older employees? Supervisors actually tell employees this?
If so, this is clearly age discrimination. I'm amazed Exxon could have a performance evaluation system that so blatantly violates federal laws.
