Pros

Good pay, smart people, great perks and location.

Cons

Sometimes they put the wrong person in charge. HR sided with the manager.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Pay attention to the turnover in your departments and consider it might be the manager, not the rank and file.

    I worked at F5 Networks full-time

    Pros

F5 provides great benefits and people generally have good work-life balance. They are in a solid technical field with an interesting product lineup. It's one of the few companies that help put Seattle on the map in the tech world.

    Cons

Turf wars from low-level management on up, across the entire organization which makes a very exhausting and disappointing environment.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Crack down on the infighting and turf wars! It's going to rot the organization out from within.

I have been working at F5 Networks full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Opportunity to work in leading edge technology in the industry.

    Cons

Do not have a flexible telecommute policy. Too much politics between Seattle and San Jose office.
