Pros

Good pay, smart people, great perks and location.

Cons

Sometimes they put the wrong person in charge. HR sided with the manager.

Advice to Management

Pay attention to the turnover in your departments and consider it might be the manager, not the rank and file.

    Pros

Opportunity to work in leading edge technology in the industry.

    Cons

Do not have a flexible telecommute policy. Too much politics between Seattle and San Jose office.

    Pros

Smart people all around. These are truly some of the brightest employees in the industry.

    Cons

Software development has a strong not invented here attitude. Sometimes it's hard to bring in new techniques and ideas.

    Advice to Management

Spend some more time with your people.
