    I worked at FDA

    Pros

The pay is decent for the work that you do, as are the federal benefits. The people are nice and there is pretty good communication.

    Cons

Very bureaucratic organization. Not very performance oriented organization. For most junior level staff, all this required is your eighty hours per two every weeks.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Although there is not much you can do, break down some of the bureaucratic walls in the organization. It makes it hard to accomplish goals.

    I worked at FDA

    Pros

Flexi-time (working from home) and maxi-flex (earning time off) were great. Also, it is great experience and good to put on your CV.

    Cons

It's almost impossible to fire people so the incompetent reviewers stay the longest and sometimes even get promoted. Also, there are inly a few management positions for statisticians.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Give positive feedback to the good reviewers and five them more responsibility.
Check up on the reviewers who don't do a good job.
