FDIC pays very well and has great benefits

Cons

FDIC is very closed to non-FDIC carreer personnel, currently hiring Term Positions so they can be discharged without government long term rights. Most FDIC staff will not take a Term Position as they know that it is to be cut later.

Advice to Senior Management

FDIC Senior IT managers are not strong managers but are SME's in IT and can not work together or understand the need for managers as managers. Personnel are left out in the cold.
