Generous benefits. Flexible schedule. If you like to travel (sometimes to dinky little towns), this is a good reason to work for the FDIC.

Cons

A significant amount of travel is required. Generally speaking, promotions are difficult to come by unless one is willing to accept a promotion somewhere else in the country.
