Pros

Very smart, dedicated people doing a lot of good, interesting work.

Cons

Large enough that it can be inflexible. It's also possible to get stuck doing a ton of work such that work-life balance suffers.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Need to find some ways to allow for more entrepreneurial flexibility in lower levels of the organization. There are a lot of smart, motivated people who could add more value for clients if they were given more room to maneuver (though I'll admit that striking the right balance in a large organization can be difficult).

Recommends
Positive Outlook
Approves of CEO

    Pros

global footprint, promote talented employees, some top-tier practices

    Cons

expansion through acquisitions has led to fragmented culture, office politics can get in the way of strategic planning at a high level

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Incentive cross-selling and spend more to promote organic growth, rather than growth through M&A

    Pros

    Compensation is competitive
    Perceived corporate reputation has value
Great lessons on what not to do

    Cons

Employees are generally dissatisfied with executives living in the bubble
Perceived corporate reputation is only 40% accurate
Too many leaders have been with the company under loose practices for too long believing that this is the way things should be managed - out of touch with the state of best practices
Too many cowboys, leading to redundancy, and risky management practices

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Sell the business to new owners who know how to manage a global company, and who will implement better management practices
    Pass the torch

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
    Disapproves of CEO
