    Pros

The pay and benefits are above average for this area, and the chances to learn new things are only limited by your willingness to try.

    Cons

For the amount of time and effort that it takes to become a proficient system administrator, you sometimes get the feeling that what you do is quickly becoming a commodity.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Please keep an eye on the workload of your people. They are your greatest asset and work around the clock to make the stakeholders and shareholders of this company successful. Don't be afraid to spend a little more, and staff appropriately.
