I have been working at Fairchild Semiconductor full-time for more than 5 years

Pros

Good health care benefits. Facilities include gym and basketball court.

Cons

Almost no free time or people working in the production line. Only 1 day off per week that sometimes gets consumed by overtime. Your pay will not be worth the stress.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

If you find employees worth keeping, do your absolute best to keep them satisfied.

I have been working at Fairchild Semiconductor

    Pros

The benefits are good. The engineering work can be challenging, but is rewarding at the same time. I have a great boss.

    Cons

The upper management is poor at best. They lack communication with the rest of the company, which in turn creates frustration with them.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Communicate more with your employees so everyone knows what's going on. Offer more training to be as productive as possible.
