Pros

Very good company to start with, you get a lot of experience from the ground up and can work your way up in the company very quickly.

Cons

As a Store Manager you must push 3/4 of the freight yourself and if your older that can be very hard to do, sometimes the help is not very reliable for showing up and the staffing is so low there is no one to call in, also they tell you that you will work 52 hr a week but you end up working 80 to 90 hr because of under staffing of the store.

Advice to Management

Let the Store Manager be the store manager not the stock boy, hire a stock person who's only job is stocking (not cashiering) 40hr a week and you will see a BIG improvement. Give more responsibility to the Asst. Manager. Have hiring and training stores in every area, then sent the person to their store, (McDs) methods. works very well.

    Pros

Loyal Customers, Good Benifits, Decent People

    Cons

If an assistant is less than 1 yr experience they will take the fall alot for the stores Shrinkage. It also depends on the stores rep, fellow assist managers and the team work, WHere I worked There was backstabbing and sabotage by the other assistant who was there for 4 yrs and hasn't made management.

    Advice to Management

When Ur suppost to b training an assistant for Manager role U should spend more than 8 hours with them for review of policies and how to run the business.. I recommend 20 hrs min..

    Pros

The only pro would be that if you're an assistant manager, you're ALMOST always guarenteed 35+ hours

    Cons

If you're an assistant manager, you get payed a little over 9 dollars per hour to start. The customers are mostly horrible. Management doesn't care about their employees and expects them to go above and beyond for such limited pay and recognition. You can spend every day cleaning the store top to bottom and the type of clientele that shops here will always ruin it immediately.

    Advice to Management

Pay your employees more if you want to keep them from stealing/leaving
