Company does good work, but should support employees more.

ProsGood as an entry level position and an opportunity to get experience. Opportunity for advancement is limited, mainly due to the small size of the company.

ConsHours are long, pay very low. This is common for social work but more of an issue in this company. Senior management has been in place for many years and may have lost touch with how the long hours impact those starting in the field.

Advice to Senior ManagementSupport those providing direct service and remember that a living wage is necessary to retain valuable staff members. Remember the cost of replacing workers is high, better to retain those you have.

Pros: Flexibilty in scheduling. Stated mission of community. Co-workers involved… Cons: Lack of focus. Misguided sense of profit vs. service.… Advice to Senior Management: Use your internal resources. Don't forget that your professional staff knows what they are… No, I would not recommend this company to a friend More
