One of a kind company

Manager (Current Employee)
Washington, DC

I have been working at Fannie Mae full-time for more than a year

ProsI believe Fannie offers the best benefits and compensation compared to similar companies in the same industry and area.

ConsOne needs to have a strong relationship with someone with power (who you know) rather than performance/skills (what you know) to move up the ladder.

Advice to Senior ManagementTurnover rate is increasing, morale is decreasing, need to figure out a plan to response to this issue.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

It is hard working at Fannie Mae

IT Manager (Current Employee)
Herndon, VA

I have been working at Fannie Mae full-time for more than 5 years

Pros: The people are good - caring, nice easy to work with. … Cons: They are outsourcing all of IT will be gone in the next 12 months or so. Little opportunities for job growth - or movement.… Advice to Senior Management: Really outsourcing - you are destroying the company. Who would you rather have on your team a mercenary or a patriot? Seems… No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company… More
