I have been working at Fannie Mae full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    Work from home opportunities.
Fair compensation and benefits as compared to most companies this size
Many really nice people work there.

    Cons

As a software developer you have to deal with a lot of bureaucracy. Very boring work too. Disorganized projects ie several contractors working on a single project at different times results in poor documentation and many inconsistencies.

Spend too much time on unnecessary issues; need time to focus on real issues and actual work.
