I worked at Fannie Mae full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    • Salary is very good for entry-level position (above market in my opinion)
    • Work/life balance is fantastic
    • Great people to work with and very knowledgeable
    • Great flexible work arrangements
    • Great benefits
    • Company is really interested in making a difference in homeowners' lives

    Cons

    • Not very flexible with making changes to HR policy of having people move out of a position before a year is up. I really left because of this
    • Not really sure if people are super interested in moving you into an area that aligns well with your educational background
    • Overall uncertainty about the company's future

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep providing more insight into what the future entails for the company and advise HR to be more flexible with letting people move into the right positions sooner.
