Farmers Group – “Only Work Farmers Insurance If You Absolutely Have No Other Option. If You are Currently Working There.........RUN!!!”

Pros

The only good thing about working for this joke of a company is that it looks good on your resume for when you find a real job. Many employers know what a sweatshop this company is, therefore when they see that you were able to last at least a year you are as good as gold on the free market.

Cons

I would say that every aspect of working at Farmers Group is a down side. I thought that they abolished 150 years ago. After working here I see that I was wrong. My advise to new college grads that were either tricked or forced to accept employment here is to use it as a resume builder and not to stay longer than 18 months max. FYI, they don't want you to stay longer than 2-3 years anyways as it saves them billions on retirement and health benefits. Hence the true nature of Farmers insurance............an entry level burn and churn scam.

Advice to Senior Management

I would recommend for Senior Management to go the their local community college to take a course on Business Ethics. They seriously need to grasp the concept that happy employees will only generate good things for the company. If the shareholders actually knew what was going on their would be hell to pay.
