Pros

The culture. To be in it, you may know, you may not...depends on whether you ace the IQ question "The more I learn in life, the more I learn...how much I don't yet know". If you think you know it all and the world owes you the opportunity, you don't get it.

Cons

It makes you look within to decide it you should grow. Reminds me of the movie in which the guy said to the girl he loved, "you make me want to be a better man." If that's too tough for some, that's okay; but the culture is one of teamwork to restore lives to order. You grow, doing that, if you do it right. You do that and you get that concept, you do well. If you expect expect expect, you don't "get it", so the world will not be delivered to you.
