I have been working at Fast Enterprises full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

    - Generous compensation and benefits
    - Work hard, play hard culture
    - cooperative work environment. Peers do not have to fail for me to succeed
    - Flat organization. With few exceptions, employees at all sites and levels are willing to talk to me (though finding time may not always be easy for partners)
    - Family friendly culture. Families, friends and significant others are welcome to most company social functions. People are welcoming and this is promoted by the corporate culture.
    - People generally are very employee-sensitive, and client-supportive. They're not out to milk employees or clients for the bottom line.
    - Lots of growth and professional opportunities, albeit not necessarily formalized

    Cons

    - Constantly evolving in terms of market offerings and workforce, so this impacts policies and processes. If you like a very structured environment, with predictability each day/month/year, may not be for you.
    - Can be lots of overtime
    - relocating can be stressful

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    - we're growing, but be careful not to lose important "small-company" traits
    - whatever you can do to ease stress on me and my family of relocation

Good company that may be growing just a bit too fast.

I worked at Fast Enterprises full-time

    Pros

    - Delivers an excellent product that is extremely well received by their clients.
    - Effectively prioritizes the needs of their clients (and employees) above their profit margin.
    - Offers good pay and benefits, including paid overtime.
    - Fosters camaraderie amongst its workforce with company-funded social events at each of its project sites.
    - Maintains a solid business outlook for continued growth and future demand for their services.

    Cons

    - Frequent relocation (often with very little notification).
    - Expectation to work a large amount of overtime.
    - Little opportunity for promotion within the company.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Spend more time refining (or in many cases defining) internal business processes and operational procedures within the company. If the company is serious about wanting to grow in a sustainable manner, then it will eventually need to reevaluate its current "small company" mindset.
