Pros

The best reasons to work at Fastenal is the growth Opportunities and unlimited income potential! You can work as hard as you can, and the rest takes care of itself. Sales is usually the starting point and it should be a fun challenge. I enjoy it because no two days are the same. There are always new challenges, whether in gaining new accounts or building on what you already have started! I also like that I can get management to listen to me at any time. They are always open to suggestions and love to hear what is working for me.

Cons

It can be stressful at times and there is a lot of competition for accounts. Also, there seems to be a gap between the store employees and being noticed my management because of company size.

Advice to Senior Management

Keep up the good work mostly. Find a way to get RVP's and DM's to get more info to you from the stores.
