I have been working at Fastenal full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

Relatively stable job environment. Some advancement opportunity.

    Cons

No raises. Low pay compared to other companies in the same field. Constantly changing management strategy. Unrealistic goals.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Quit changing stuff all the time and focus on what works. You can't have your cake and eat it, too...either you are a growth company or a gross profit company, you can't be both. You wonder why you are not growing? It's because you are not willing to go to the profit margins required for big business.
