I worked at FedEx Ground full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Benefits by far incredible! That's about it.

    Cons

Too many managers and when you have a compliant it just makes you time there harder. Nothing ever gets solved. The terminal manager was too personal in his Discipline's as well as the office manager. Too much sexual behavior between the two managers. When they were caught with ever doing something wrong, even the district manager would dust it under the rug. So in other words your expendable and they are untouchable.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

You have no business being managers, your too personal and waste everyone's time with not solving work related issues or to better improve the flow for drivers. Corporate needs to stop being managers personal friends and really base their work on complaints and results. Company is just too personal.

I have been working at FedEx Ground full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Independence- no boss breathing down your neck all day, easy to get a day off when needed

    Cons

Company pays no benefits and does not even provide sweatshirts, hard to get the tools you need to get the job done safely, such as head lamps, shovels, hand trucks, safe trucks. You are expected to use your own cell phone for company calls.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop paying your people poverty wages. This is a dangerous job and should be paid accordingly.
