Pros

You can start higher than other similiar positions. Overall coworkers are great and asst. mangers are usually promoted from within and very competent.

Cons

The raises are horrible, and senior management sometimes lacks understanding of day to day operations. With the FedEx switch things are constantly changing and you really got the feeling FedEx was not listening to anyone with Printing Industry experience.

Advice to Management

Reward the employess you stay or they will leave for greener pastures.

    Pros

The training provided to do the job is excellent. The flexibility for time off was great. My team worked together very well.

    Cons

Don't trust the management. Everything is not as it seems!

    Advice to Management

Pay your sales people better. You will probably be able to accomplish what is needed that way.

    Pros

Management makes their own schedule. Benefit package is nice, 401K , medical and dental. Get to browse the internet all day if no customers.

    Cons

Upper management has favorites and you only get promoted by who you know. Corporate promotional material is always being changed because they don't proof read it before they send it out to stores, creating double the work for you. After Fedex bought Kinkos the team members became just numbers with no feelings.

    Advice to Management

Pay attention to your people, especially the ones who are dedicated and loyal to you. Quit promoting people that you get along with outside of work and promote the ones who really put in the time and effort.
