Pros

-Early morning shift allows for more daytime available for school or other jobs -Great pay for a student -Multiple shifts and different facilities around the country -The quicker you learn, the better you will be

Cons

-May experience sleep deprivation until you find a good balance -Electronic issues can cause a great deal of stress -For people banking on seniority as an automatic job advancement, don't, if you work hard and learn, there will be opportunities for you

Advice to Management

Sometimes the process is the problem, not the person.

    Pros

Challenging work, great co-workers, laid back environment, fair compensation. Co-workers reached out from day one to mentor new employees which helped in understanding of their products and projects.

    Cons

Lack of communication between management and subordinates. Management needs to be more engaged in the day to day activities of their team in order to evaluate the success or failure of a project and understand which employees are truly doing the work. It was disappointing and frustrating to team members to have to double their workload on critical projects to make up for the employees that were not doing their job.

    Advice to Management

Listen to all your employees (to include contractors) input and insight into your technical projects. Utilize the "Good to Great" methodology of getting the right people in the right seats on the bus.

Be on the good side of your superiors. This will open opportunities down the road.

    Pros

benefits, tuition reimbursement. Great part time job for students.

    Cons

If you're out of shape, this will suck for the first month. It does get a lot easier the longer you're there.

    Advice to Management

I would have given this place a 5 if the yearly reviews were fair There are people who came into work w/o calling off but did the absolute minimal amount of work i ran circles around these guys every day. Sometimes twice the productivity. i did the math Got lesser reviews. Killed my morale.
