I worked at FedEx part-time for more than 3 years

Pros

The benefits were very competitive. The work load was constant, so the oppurtunity to get hours was always there.

Cons

The pay doesn't match the work. Workers there have a very demanding job physically, and the pay that the get is on the lower part of the pay scale.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Work on raising the pay for the employees.

    I have been working at FedEx full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

    No chance to get bored at this job! Good pay and benefits. Physically demanding, so less time at the gym. No layoff policy (even throughout the recession). Many opportunities for career advancement and able to transfer anywhere in the world if there is a position open.

    Cons

    Sometimes long hours and Saturday work required. Physically demanding. Productivity expectations are sometimes unreasonable. Fast pace and covering different areas is not for everyone.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Focus more on customer service and less on stops per hour. Listen to input from those who actually do the job and not just the engineers.
