I worked at FedEx part-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Great benefits and a great company that supports its part time employees. The part time employees in the Hub are the heart of the company and Fed Ex does everything they can to keep them employed.

    Cons

The greatest con to being a part time employee are the hours. The easiest job to get at Fed Ex is a material handler during the night shift. This job makes it very difficult to get college done which makes it difficult to further your career.

    I worked at FedEx

    Pros

    Great manager, decent training.

    Cons

Incredibly fast-paced work environment, sometimes overwhelming. Very low pay, only good as supplemental income.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Look after the "little guys". Just because we're "only loading the trucks," doesn't mean we're not working our tails off.
