I have been working at FedEx full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Ethical company with a work life balance. As a professional staff member you have give and take on both side. Balance, not perfection is the goal.

    Cons

It's still up to an individual to set boundaries to maintain work life balance, but in my experience this has not been an issue.

Former Employee - Account Executive in Chicago, IL

I worked at FedEx full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

pride in the brand, benefits are good especially travel perks; should be more to say but cant really think of anything else; tuition reimbursement is great

    Cons

too metrics focused. not focused enough on the people; constant pressure to do more and they don't seem to value experience anymore. very focused on new people. definitely not interested in using the right people for the right jobs. continuing to downsize through attrition just to hide what you are doing is not working. Pressuring people by having them do 3 and 4 people's job is wrong.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

stop overworking management and employees and allow them to do the best job possible.
